ABCPastor is Moving

We’re moving! Switching over to a Dreamhost server.

Please change your bookmarks and update your links to

See you there!

I’m a 12er. Well, kinda. Less than a n00bie at 12ing but find it fascinating. I’ve only done two 12s so far.
Now if you don’t know what I’m talking about I’m referring to 12seconds, a free video microblogging site kinda like twitter but with 12seconds of video. If you don’t know what twitter is then fuggetaboutit.
You get 12 seconds. That’s it.
Use your web cam, MacBook/Pro (built-in) or mobile phone and broadcast your life.
Why only 12seconds? They’ll tell you that anything longer is boring. They’re getting closer to a public beta and like the beginnings of Gmail they’re slowly dishing out invites to join but this weekend 12ers have an unlimited amount of invites to give out.

If you want an invite leave a comment or hit me up.

Kindle Beta

I’m really diggin kindle. I think they’ve done a good job with the interface. It’s got lots of potential.
Heck we can all be more committed to prayer.

Asian American Ministry: Links

Since I’m back to reading blog feeds and searching the net for yummy stuff I’ve noticed some nice updates to Asian American ministry related things that may be of interest to you.

• Check out the new digs of Vox Veniae, always a visual feast with a mission
The 2008 Asian American Leadership Conference site has been updated with more information
The EPIC East Coast Conference 2008, “100% Sent”, February 1-3, 2008 at Herndon, Va
Called Out , Called Forth, Asian American Leadership Conference, April 4-6, 2008 in San Diego, CA, with Dave Gibbons, Peter Cha, Ken Fong, and more. Hosted by San Diego Fellowship of Asian American Ministers and InterVarsity. Read more through Headsparks blog.

OK, tho not completely Asian American at its core, but check out FermiProject’s Q Conference.
• The Q event has confirmed Asian American guests like artist Makoto Fujimura, journalist Michael Luo, Pastor David Gibbons of NewSong, and the founder of Interfaith Youth Core, Eboo Patel
Q Event

[american born chinese pastor]
seeks to be that third place for those who are american born chinese [abc] in ministry.
here we may explore issues unique to the chinese church and doing ministry in that context
expand the intersection of asian american culture and christian faith
or simply expose what goes on in the mind of this abcpastor

this may be a bit ambitious or even naiive but i do hope that through the posts we can bring together different faith communities, passions for the advancement of the Gospel and the equipping of the body of Christ.

if you are an abc pastor or have any suggestions or would like to contribute to make this space evolve, just comment.
