Here’s a plug for another uber-talented musical buddy of mine.
Victor Lin Trio at The Calhoun School
433 West End Ave (at 81st St)
Friday, October 26th
Saturday, October 27th
shows both nights at 7:00pm and 9:00pm
$10 general
$5 students/seniors
The Calhoun School is where Victor been teaching for the past six years. They recently added a $15 million renovation, part of which included a state of the art remodeled performing arts center.
The show is open to the entire community, and everyone is welcome. All four shows will be recorded, and there will hopefully be enough high quality material to make a second trio CD, which will just be called “Live At Calhoun”.
Reservations can be made by clicking here.
I’m an american born multi-euro-(and I mean multi:-) pastor in nashville.
I loved the Avitar studio’s podcast on Victor, and have downloaded what I can find on the net, but would love to pick up some CD’s. I haven’t found them yet, I have stumbled across a couple of dead links but that’s it.
Victor seems like a fine young man, and I really enjoy his talent. what I’ve heard has been really uplifting, but even more than that, it’s really good jazz.
any chance you can hook me up with a source?
be blessed.
