Weeelll,
personally, it’s my belief that we’re seeing images of Christ in the missionaries in third world countries preaching the gospel, those who feed the hungry, give to the poor, and all the general goodness in the world. It stems from him, so why should it not bear his likeness?
Question, though — why would he appear on a wall by a bathtub? I’m not being mean or trying to disprove this or anything. Just generally wondering really.
And, by the way, if Christ was to appear on something that I own, I’d be likely to keep it, you know? If something divinly appeared on one of my possesions, I’m pretty sure my first thought wouldn’t be “Mom, get the camera. We’re gunna make huge bucks of ebay on this!”
🙂
